Fashion: Back to School Staples

School is almost here and judging by the weather summer is officially over (that why I haven't taken any outfit photos for this post, it's raining too much...). For me this means that I'm going back into a new year and I don't have to wear school uniform (Yay!). I think the most obvious staple has to be a pair of black jeans, they are such a practical basic item that you can dress up or down. They are so much of an essential that I own two pairs that are completely identical. To go with the jeans I think it is important to wear comfortable tops. I don't know about you but I own a few tops that I am constantly wearing because they are easy to pair with a lot of things, I feel confident wearing them (it's kind of a safe option for me if that makes sense) and they are comfortable to wear - you cannot go wrong with that! I want to be sitting in a lesson wearing a top that fits me right and isn't annoying, not with something I have to keep adjusting etc. I think it is important to have a jacket / a coat for school, here in England it is more or less winter already... I an constantly wearing my leather jacket, it is something I can layer when it's colder or just throw on in the rain or Autumn weather. Onto shoes, if you are walking to school or are your on your feet a lot of the day, a pair of comfortable shoes is the best thing to have. A pair of converse and, for the winter months, boots have always been an essential in my wardrobe and will be all I ever wear at school. Finally, it is best to chose a bag to take to school that will fit all/ most of your stuff in. There is nothing I hate more than having to carry around school books because they don't all fit in my bag - this has happened many times for me. I've not chosen my school bag yet, I have a few old ones that I'm going to use depending on how much stuff I'm going to need to carry around.

For many of you this might not have been relevant as you still have a uniform or don't go to school anymore but this is basically my everyday wardrobe essentials - and yes my wardrobe does just consist of black white and blue.. I'm not even joking! Anyway I hope you enjoyed this anyway and good luck for the new school year. Sorry if over the next couple of weeks I don't upload so much, just bare with until I've adjusted to being back at school it's been a long time since I've been blogging and have had school work.

Sand, Sea and Sunshine

I can't believe the summer is nearly over - the weather outside as I'm typing this definitely means that summer has gone :( I had quite a few plans for Summer and as you will have seen from some of my previous posts, I have been quite busy. This is going to be the last travel post in a while, school is just around the corner which means I'm going to be back to my normal blog post style! Anyway to finish off the Summer I did want to share some of my holiday pictures with you. I went to Devon and photography is a huge hobby for me, so as you can imagine I took a few snaps....

Thankyou for reading. Sorry for the lack of post recently, with results day and summer work for the start of the new school year these last couple of weeks have been very busy!! Please give me some blog post requests so I can start writing them once I've got time. Byee

Beach Outfits

Today I'm back with a summer beach outfit post. While I was away my sister and I took some photos of our outfits at the beach that I want to share with you all.

Top | New Look £12.99

Shorts | Primark £4

Hat | New Look £9.99

This top acted as a great beach cover up to go over my bikini (H&M last summer). Paired with the shorts, this outfit was comfortable and loose, perfect for sunny beach weather.

Top | New Look £12.99 (?)

Shorts | Primark £3

Again my sister went for similar style shorts and paired them with a black strappy top. The patterns and detailing on the shorts make this outfit a little more interesting.

Thankyou for reading. It was fun to take these photos a little differently. If you have any requests for blog posts do let me know, byyee

Favourites...

I have been loving a few objects recently that I wanted to share with you. I'm not sure whether this counts as August favourites or just a really late July favourites post..

I'm going to start with my non beauty favourites for a change. The first thing is my trip to Disneyland Paris. As you probably have seen I've done a few posts on my trip - it was such a lovely holiday. My trip to London to see Ed Sheeran in concert also has to be a favourite recently, I had such a lovely trip and his voice sounds amazing live. I also went to the Quest International Camp at the end of July, it was an awesome experience and I met some lovely people there. I have also just got back from my holiday to Croyde, Devon - I love it there! (blog posts to come..) .... Yes I've been very busy this Summer.

Continuing with random favourites, I finished the book 'Fangirl' by Rainbow Rowell in early July. Some of you might remember that I hauled this book ages ago, but because of school exams etc. I never got round to reading it until now. I really loved the story, I think it got a lot better in the second half of the book though. On holiday I also read Zoella's 'Girl Online', it was a lot better than I expected it to be - I'm looking forward to reading the second book. I also started watching the Pretty Little Liars TV show with my friends and ever since I have been hooked on that show. I wasn't sure at first whether I should bother to start watching it as I am so late to the show and I also didn't know if it was meet up to the hype surrounding it - but it is just as good as everyone makes it out to be. I usually scroll though my phone when I watch TV, I'm not normally interested, but when watching PLL I never do that - for me that proves that it is such a good show. I really recommend watching it if you haven't already (I guess a lot of people already watch it!?) I'm on season 4 (No spoilers!!), so I really want to catch up. My favourite song recently has to be One Direction's 'Drag Me Down', I am soooo excited for the new album now!

As for clothing, I have been loving the H&M high waist shortshere. I own two black (yes two!) and a pair of the grey shorts; they fit really nicely and are probably the most comfortable shorts that I've ever had. I have also been loving the stuff in Forever 21 recently - although I only brought a few things from their recently, I could have brought a lot more.

Beauty wise, the Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait has been my favourite lip product recently. I love the colour and it is great to moisturize your lips as well. And finally, I have also loved using the Kiko cream eye shadow in Cream Crush (I reviewed it here.) It's a really nice light shimmery summer colour and also helps to brighten up my eyes.

Thank you for reading this random favourites post, I was planning on posting this for July - early August time but I wanted to get my Disney posts up first so this was uploaded a little later than expected. See you next time, byee.

Disney Dreams // 3

Welcome back to my Disney trip series. This is the last part and I'm going to be sharing my favourite photos from the Parade and the Disney Dreams firework display. I went to both of these 'shows' on the two days that I spent the whole day in the park. These were the two things I was most excited about to see, so I've dedicated one post for them so I can show you more photos (I took way too many photos to put in one post. If you haven't seen the previous parts of this blog series, don't forget to check them out before or after reading this post! * I would also like to say that recently it is not letting me reply to all comments, but I just wanted to say that I do read all my comments and reply to all that it lets me reply to. *

The Parade...

Disneyland is Frozen themed this summer, so before the parade they have Anna and Elsa going around by horse and cart.

The Stagecoach (as I said in my previous post my sister is part of Stagecoach and this trip was for people at Stagecoach; this is why my family went.)

Tangled! - my current favourite Disney film.

The Little Mermaid was my favourite Disney film when I was younger. (I was obsessed with it!?)

Disney Dreams Fireworks...

The park puts on this amazing display every night with fireworks, lights, water sprays, music and animations projected onto the castle. I was really excited to experience this; it collected some of the best Disney songs and if you get the chance you should really go and see it - it's something that you cannot experience properly through photos or videos... these photos really don't do it justice!

^ I think this has to be my favourite photo of the display.

I did only get one photo of each outfit as 1. it can be a bit awkward and 2. Disneyland Paris // 1

If you follow my twitter or Instagram you will probably know that I went to Disneyland Paris a few weeks ago. It was part of a Stagecoach trip that my sister was part of but we did have a lot of time to go around the park. If you know me you'll know that I like to take a lot of photos of the places I've been and I thought I would share some photos with you. This is for anyone like me who enjoys reading these types of posts; but also so I can look back on this post to remember the trip in the future.

This post is going to be part of a series from my trip to Disney - I have photos from the parade and firework show still to post and I've done a outfit post. (I had too much to put into one post). So I hope you don't mind my next few posts being like this. Enjoy!

One of the many photos I took of the castle!!

The Walt Disney Studio park was one of my favourites. I also loved how they made the Hollywood sign look like it was in the distance.

Stagecoach performed several times - this being one of them.

They sold Ben and Jerry's ice cream here. It tasted good and the Mickey wafer looked cute.

These are from the inside of the palace.

The first day we didn't really go on many rides, we kind of just looked around the park and went to the fireworks and parade (separate post soon). But we did go on the Studio tour which was really fun. I also took a photo on the Small World ride, but for most rides I didn't take any photos.

Onto food. We went to Planet Hollywood one night, I really wanted to try it out. I had a pizza, which was seriously big. The interior was cool and they did play One Direction and 5SOS music videos which I loved!!
