Current Favourites

Hello,

I never did a October Favourites blog post so I though I would combine these past two months and write a 'current favourites' post. I haven't got a huge list of items to discuss with you as my November has been an busy month full of exams, exams and even more exams.

I got a leather jacket recently and I LOVE it. It goes with anything and I've worn it to both formal days out to quick trips out to get something, I can pair it with almost anything. I am very lucky as my parents brought it me ( Thank you if you're reading <3 ). I have featured it in my Autumnal outfits post (here.)

I have also been loving my blanket/ throw from Primark. As it is getting colder in the evenings I have been using this a lot to keep me warm. It is insanely soft. I brought this last year for £5 and it hasn't lost its softness. You would never believe it was only £5, the quality is really good. I love the winter pattern mine has; Primark still do these type of blankets/throws but I'm not sure if the pattern I have still exists. (Used as a background in these photos)

One thing that I can't forget to mention is One Direction's new album FOUR! I am playing it now as I'm writing. I'll listen to a song and be like 'I love this it's my favourite' but then the next song comes on and I'm like 'oh wait no this is my favourite'.. and so the cycle continues. (I don't know if I explained that very well..) Within a few days I knew the words to most of the songs, that's how much I've played them - it's by far my favourite album yet.

Onto makeup/ beauty... I picked up a darker lipstick from Sleek recently; it is a matt shade in Dare 791. Can we just talk about the packaging.. oh my.. I'm in love.. It's such an unusual shaped packaging but I love it; to be honest all of Sleeks packaging is amazing. I love the shade of this, however a darker lipstick is a bit different for me as I normally wear lighter neutral shades.

I also picked up the Blissful Missful Body Mist from the Zoella Beauty range in October. Again I love the packaging of this product, but it also smells amazing. (I'm not going to even try and describe the scent, I am rubbish at that!) It is also really cheap, £8 for 45ml - you would pay around £30 for one of the 1D perfumes this size!!

Thankyou for reading, this was a short favourites post but I wanted to share the products with you anyway.

Collection No Clumps Mascara - Review

Hello,

It has been a while since my last review so I thought I would write a review for you today. Today I will be reviewing the Collection No Clumps mascara. I'm a huge mascara fan and I won't go a day without it. I brought this in Superdrug for £2.99. (Here) Yes I said £2.99! I was watching a Youtube video and it was recommend - and even compared to the Benefit They're real, so I had to give it a try. Although I can't compare it to the Benefit They're real because I haven't tried it, I have loved this mascara. I still love my Maybelline mascara (review here.) I have noticed that I keep wearing this one - they do work nicely together as well.

Mine is in 17 Ultra black and I have been using this around a month now.  In the past I have tried other Collection mascaras and they have dried out and gone a bit grey but so far this one has been fine. I'm a fan of big lashes and this normally means I apply quite a few layers of mascara; and as it says in the name this mascara does not clump on your lashes which is great. Even better, this mascara gives me long lashes and I don't really have to apply as many layers as I do with other mascaras, which is a real time saver in the morning. One of the most impressive things with this mascara is that you don't get any excess mascara at the end when you open this mascara, and believe me you might not think this is amazing but when you use another mascara you will really notice this. The mascara doesn't have a fancy packaging, but don't judge a book by its cover. I'm sorry I struggled to focus the wand in the photo; but the wand is a really nice size that works well for both top and bottom lashes.

Overall this mascara is really good, and very impressive for such a small price tag.

Thank you for watching. I just thought I would let you know that I will be starting my Christmas post in December; and there might be a surprise near Christmas so watch out for that! See you next time, byee.

A/W Nail Polish Collection

Hello,

As I have said before I love Autumn/ Winter and today I am going to pair that love with my other love, Nail Polish. Like in the Summer I am trying not to buy any more nail polishes - I have such a large collection and it is also a great way to discover old favourites.  For the next two seasons I will probably be wearing these nail polishes and I thought I would share them with you in case you wanted to try out a new shade this A/W.

L-R: BarryM Duchess, MUA Plum Noir, Miss Sporty 3274 & BarryM Black

BarryM Duchess £3.99 ~ This is a nail polish I wear all year round. However I think it is perfect for this season as it is has a lovely texture and a dusty pink-grey colour (I'm not really sure how to describe the colour). It is a colour that will go with everything and it lasts such a long time without chipping.

MUA Plum Noir £1 ~ This is quite old but has featured in my last  favourites. It is a beautiful purple shade and I find in some light it looks quite burgundy - perfect for this type of year. MUA nail polishes work so well for the price, you can't really go wrong with a £1!

Miss Sporty 3274 ~ I'm not sure whether this has a proper name or not, I could only find a number on the packaging. Anyway, I love to use this nail polish under other nail polishes, I find that it creates a more interesting nail polish design and is so easy to do. The orange-copper colour is perfect for Autumn.

BarryM Black £3.99 ~ I think I mentioned before that my sister and I often borrow each others nail polishes - it would be silly for us to both buy the same colour. Black nail polish is a basic nail polish colour that you can't really go wrong with.

L-R: 2true 13, Tanya Burr Riding Hood & BarryM Cappucino

2true 13 ~ This is another really old nail polish. 2true is not the best brand for nail polish but I just love the colour. I love wearing dark purple nail polishes in A/W and this has a shimmer to it but its not full on glitter.

Tanya Burr Riding Hood £5.99  ~ A red nail polish is a must have for me. I will definitely be wearing this nearer Christmas but also through the Autumn. It is a very good colour if you are dressing up to go somewhere nice or with a monochrome outfit.

BarryM Cappucino £3.99 ~ This nail polish is a purple-grey shade. Again this belongs to my sister. It is the perfect Autumnal colour and a great alternative to black if you want something a bit lighter.

Thank you for reading. I am pretty excited for my December blog schedule next month. See you next time, goodbye.

Berlin Photo Album

Hello,

I recently went on a school trip to Berlin, Germany; we were there for 4 days but also had to sit (and try a sleep) through a 20 hour coach journey there and back... It was one of the best school trips I've been on, I had a lovely time and wish it had been for longer. I took an extremely huge number of photos when we were there, around 400, so cutting that down to a reasonable number for this post was difficult. This was a History and German trip and we visited: landmarks, including the Reichstag Dome by day and the TV Tower by night which gave us some amazing views over Berlin; Museums, including the Jewish Museum; the Sachsenhausen concentration camp; Holocaust Memorial and we also did some shopping and went on a river cruise near the East Side Gallery (part of the Berlin wall). Berlin was a beautiful city and no words could justify that so I'm now going to show you some of the photos I took... Enjoy
